Course Overview:
L1 ©SAFE Conversations is designed for all school staff, equipping them with the confidence and practical skills to engage sensitively with students who may be upset or emotionally dysregulated. The course provides essential tools to conduct supportive conversations while recognising when to escalate concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or guide the student to make a report themselves.
This training introduces participants to the principles and practices of effective communication, ensuring that students feel heard, validated, and supported in a safe and respectful environment.
